I've heard said patience is a virtue, But with such who truly is blest, for can any wait without question, and be found fully content? Who hath not any confusion, self contradiction, or doubt? And if two are found in agreement, is debate gone within and without? Tho two seem stedfast and consistent, compare their deep inner thoughts, from whence cometh winds of contention , even foresight of future events?... If men have perfect surveillance, to know the extent of a life, to see the oppressed, or afflicted, then judge and convict as if right ... Now Jōb was convinced he was righteous, perfectly committed to right, the sum total of fleshly desire, constrained by the limits of light... But Zophar thought as the others, God would never oppress one of right, but only wicked deceivers, who do not adhere to true light... He called the oppressed one a liar, he said it right to his face, and with the truest conviction, as if true conviction is right... Yes pride led unto this belief, that God not to the wicked but righteous, is found to be consistently sweet... But woes be unto the wicked, and Jōb was now full of woe, so Jōb must by default be wicked, Zophan kept telling himself... He viewed his friend to be wicked, this a mathematical fact, it one equals two, two being wicked, Jōb was wicked, it's true... And so his three friends were consistent, Jōb suffered for sin, they told him, so why not bǒw in repentance, to end this deep suffering? Who can defy such logic, this they kept asking their friend Jōb, they felt this the answer was seeking, to stop sinning, would cure the suffering of Jōb! What do you think dear listener, could Jōb's friends truly be right, remember the start of this story, Jōb was afflicted for Right!
