Dark room, basement floor Thumping beat behind the steel door Four-on-the-floor, steady pace Washing out the memory of your face Sweat dripping down my spine Losing track of location and time Every kick drum strike on the floor Pushes your shadow out the door Rinse it out in the sub-bass frequency Rinse it out till there's nothing left of me Rinse it out in the dark club space Erasing every picture of your face Two in the morning, strobe lights flash Turning all the past history into ash The speakers shake the foundation stone Surrounded by people but standing alone I don't need words, I don't need talk Just the rhythm on the concrete walk Rinse it out in the sub-bass frequency Rinse it out till there's nothing left of me Rinse it out in the dark club space Erasing every picture of your face Lock the rhythm in the body frame Forget the letters that spell your name The pulse moves in, the grief moves out That's what this basement is all about Rinse it out in the sub-bass frequency Rinse it out till there's nothing left of me Rinse it out in the dark club space Erasing every picture of your face Rinse it out... In the frequency... Rinse it out...
