Teddybear for Christmas

[Verse] Little girl just a-holdin' her mommy's hand Big city Santa Claus parade Starin' at the big man in the red suit Ridin' in his big red sleigh [Verse 2] She's goin' through her list in her head Dolls and candy and a brand-new sled She gets to the end and starts it again Momma leans down Says "Baby Don't forget" [Chorus] You gotta leave some cookies on a plate You gotta leave some milk by the gate And remember You're a big girl now So you better be good If you really wanna see him comin' down You gotta tell him now When he gets to your house And you gotta make sure he hears you say "I want a teddy bear for Christmas" [Verse 3] Little girl starts sittin' on Santa's knee Big brown eyes light up Starin' at the big man in the red suit He said "Baby What do you want?" [Chorus] You gotta leave some cookies on a plate You gotta leave some milk by the gate And remember You're a big girl now So you better be good If you really wanna see me comin' down You gotta tell me now When I get to your house And you gotta make sure I hear you say "I want a teddy bear for Christmas" [Bridge] A teddy bear A teddy bear I want a teddy bear for Christmas
