(Verse 1\) Hospital lights, a long lonely night, You couldn't stay, but you made it alright. A little stuffed owl with big brown eyes, You said, "He'll watch you through the night." I named him Frank and held him close, A little piece of you when I needed you most. \(Chorus\) It started with an owl by my hospital bed, A little bit of love when I was scared of what lay ahead. Every time I see one, I still smile somehow, 'Cause I loved you then, and I love you now. Through every high and every low we've been through, Darlin', owl always love you. \(Verse 2\) Back when I sold phones, you believed in me, Saw a better man than I could see. From dinner dates and your favorite quiche, To backyard honey and our busy bees. Through every blessing, every uphill climb, God gave me you to walk by my side. \(Bridge\) With Jesus at the center of the life we've made, I thank the Lord for you every day. \(Final Chorus\) It started with an owl by my hospital bed, Now look at all the roads where we've been led. Every time I see one, I still smile somehow, 'Cause I loved you then, and I love you now. Through every high and every low we've been through, Darlin', owl always love you. \(Outro\) Owl always love you.
