A Plushie of Nepenthe #PlushiePandemic🧸

[Male Vocals — Smooth and Seductive and Whispered and Trembling] [Insrumental Intro — soft, dreamy, music box with background notes of static] [Verse 1] If I were also a plushie, I wouldn’t cost too much, Vintage at an antique mall, Somewhat soft to the touch. [Verse 2] If I were also a plushie, Beans wouldn’t be the stuff— Instead I’d contain words, And use them to build you up. [Chorus] Plushies don’t always do it But this little plushie sings My voice box would play for you If you’d just pull my strings Willing to listen to problems As a good plushie would do But don’t forget to hug me, So I can share mine with you [Verse 3] If I were also a plushie, I’d never be sold in a series, Often refugees from a warehouse Are one-of-a-kind tchotchkes [Verse 4] If you’re looking upon the price tag, At the garage sale where I’m sold, Take a chance on hand-me-downs, For I’m still a treasure to behold. [Chorus Repeat] Plushies don’t always do it But this little plushie sings My voice box would play for you If you’d just pull my strings Willing to listen to problems As a good plushie would do But don’t forget to hug me, So I can share mine with you [Bridge] If I sing to you, entertain you, Please let me rest upon your bed— Don’t put me in your closet! A fate worse than being dead… Take care of plushie Nepenthe For I’ll defend as a plushie can do, I’ve heard I’m good at snuggling— Words of affirmation too! [Chorus 3] Plushies don’t always do it But this little plushie sings My voice box would play for you If you’d just pull my strings Willing to listen to problems As a good plushie would do But don’t forget to hug me, So I can share mine with you [Outro]
