I was drivin' to Nawlins to audition for a band And was almost there when my car broke down Feelin' stranded and alone No one around to lend a hand Grabbed my suitcase and guitar then started walkin' Hoping there was a town nearby Tryin' to thumb a ride but nobody drove by Then I came upon a sign that read "Entering Hathian" If I only knew back then what I know now The sign should have also read "You better turn around" But I kept on goin' and not really knowin' What was in store for me When I finally made my way to the city Now here I am in Hathian That wasn't in my plans Even walking down the streets Makes me feel like a hunted man After five years of being here Danger has become no stranger to me Just gotta try to survive and if I'm lucky Maybe I can still stay alive At least past twenty five Things seem to go from bad to worse When you're trapped in the Hathian curse Even the Voodoo Shop and Witch Way Alley Couldn't help me escape Hathian's spell So I had to accept the fate I was handed Living a second life near the gates of hell Looking back, even to this day It still seems to me That I've been awake in a really bad dream Now here I am in Hathian That wasn't in my plans Even walking down the streets Makes me feel like a hunted man After five years of being here Danger has become no stranger to me Just gotta try to survive and if I'm lucky Maybe I can still stay alive At least past twenty five Things seem to go from bad to worse When you're trapped in the Hathian curse
