Let there be light

[Verse 1] In the beginning Silence Nothing said Empty horizon Only breath instead Shapeless and shadowed Over endless seas Every wave was waiting For a word to breathe [Chorus] Let there be light Let there be light From the heart of forever Into this night You spoke once And everything turned bright You named the morning Day And the falling dark Night Let there be light [Verse 2] Spirit on the waters Hovering so near Dark on every surface Still You were here Then a single sentence Split the sleeping void Every corner shining Every fear destroyed [Chorus] Let there be light Let there be light From the heart of forever Into this night You spoke once And everything turned bright You named the morning Day And the falling dark Night Let there be light
