Verse 1 One little apple hanging on a tree, Two little birds sing just for me. Three little clouds in the big blue sky, Count them softly as they float on by. Chorus Count, count, count again, Let’s count slowly, one to ten. Clap your hands and tap your toe, Watch our little numbers grow! Verse 2 Four little flowers smiling in a row, Five little fingers wave “hello.” Six little raindrops falling down, Splish, splash, splosh on the ground. Chorus Count, count, count again, Let’s count slowly, one to ten. Clap your hands and tap your toe, Watch our little numbers grow! Verse 3 Seven bright stars in the evening sky, Eight little fireflies blinking by. Nine little steps to your comfy bed, Ten sweet dreams in your sleepy head. Chorus Count, count, count again, Let’s count slowly, one to ten. Clap your hands and tap your toe, Watch our little numbers grow! Tag (short ending – you can sing it twice) One, two, three, four, five, let’s start, Six, seven, eight, nine, ten, smart heart! Close your eyes and say “goodnight,” We can count again when it’s morning light.
