Verse 1 In our innocence we imagined much, We lived, we laughed, and of love we touched. We gathered much of the facts we thought, To later find of the agendas taught. Verse 2 We took a step back to see of the matter, As our hearts and minds were about to shatter. What we thought was bad was not the case, We needed to see both sides of grace. Chorus To be raised up we needed to fall, To enjoy the blessings from climbing the wall. Don’t watch the world, those wars outside, Our peace is found deep down inside. Verse 3 Each mountain climbed, each day, each year, We unlock ourselves and our truths appear. The point I’m making—be not afraid, Chorus (repeat, fuller) To be raised up we needed to fall, To enjoy the blessings from climbing the wall. Don’t watch the world, those wars outside, Our peace is found deep down inside. Bridge / Instrumental Break (soft strings + guitar or piano interlude — let the music breathe) Final Chorus To be raised up we needed to fall, To enjoy the blessings from climbing the wall. Don’t watch the world, those wars outside, Our peace is found deep down inside. Outro (repeat & fade) These trials we’re living shapes how we are made. These trials we’re living shapes how we are made…
