This Could Be Love Written by Kelly Dixson and David Wright 12 August 1988 Copyright © 1988, 2026 by David Wright [Verse 1] Holding hands in the park Your eyes were dancing in the dark We walked so slow, tried not to rush This was more than just a crush [Chorus] Could this be love, guiding us on Could this be love, making us strong You reach out your hand as I reach out mine We sway to the music in perfect time We’re at the brink, could this be love? You know what I think? This could be love [Verse 2] Every day brings something new Another dream I share with you I don't know where this road may lead Just hold on and ride with me [Chorus] Could this be love, guiding us on Could this be love, making us strong You reach out your hand as I reach out mine We sway to the music in perfect time We’re at the brink, could this be love? You know what I think? This could be love [Bridge] Like wild horses running free Saddled up for you and me We’ll hold these reins, see where they lead ’Cross sandy beaches by the crystal sea [Chorus] Could this be love, guiding us on Could this be love, making us strong You reach out your hand as I reach out mine We sway to the music in perfect time We’re at the brink, could this be love? You know what I think? This could be love
