I’m afraid of life before I’m even born, I’ve got tears for death once I’m here. They tell me to believe, to hang on, and wait, for it to change I believe what I can see, and what I can see doesn’t sit right, the future’s far off, and the present’s way too close (it’s already on me) they try to make me feel guilty for thinking what I think, (and I think) they’re the ones who need to change, I never believed in fairy tales (afraid of life) (tears for death) Now: "the alarm is going off" pandemics and wars, poison in the veins, down to the sacred flow lies and stories they told us, and all of it for money, they try to make me feel guilty for thinking what I think, (and I think) they’re the ones who need to change they tell me to hang on, (I’ve already hung on) and wait (I’m sick of waiting) for it to change, for me to choose, between the (black or the white) I never believed in fairy tales "afraid of life, before I’m even born" "tears for death, once I’m here"
