[Verse 1] Woke up this morning with a fire in my feet, Heart’s thumpin’ like a drum, can’t stay in my seat. [stomp] Sun’s smilin’ through the window, sky’s paintin’ blue, Holy Spirit’s knockin’, sayin’ “I got plans for you!” [point up]Shoes are optional, worries can wait, Gonna shake off the heavy and celebrate. [shake it out] Hands in the air like I’m catchin’ the breeze, Feel the joy rushin’ through me like a summer sea! [wave hands][Chorus] We’re dancin’ in the Spirit, yeah we’re dancin’ free! [jump] Twirl like the wind, jump higher than the trees! [spin] Feel that holy rhythm, let it move your soul, Clap those hands, stomp those feet, lose control! [clap-clap-stomp] Dancin’ in the Spirit, from the floor to the sky, Joy is the anthem and love is the why! Spin it out, shout it out, don’t you dare sit still— [shout “Yeah!”] We’re dancin’ in the Spirit and we always will! [big spin][Verse 2] Grandma’s in the corner doin’ the holy hop, [hop-hop] Uncle’s got the rhythm that just won’t stop. [groove] Kids are spinning circles, laughter fillin’ the air, Even the dog’s got the groove, tail waggin’ everywhere! [laugh]No fancy steps required, just let it flow, Feel that heavenly beat from your head to your toe. [head-to-toe wave] Miracles happening every time we move, Burdens fallin’ off like an old pair of shoes! [kick ‘em off][Chorus] We’re dancin’ in the Spirit, yeah we’re dancin’ free! [big spin][Verse 3] Midnight or morning, rain or shine, Spirit keeps the party goin’ overtime. [keep goin’] When the world’s too loud and the day feels long, We turn up the praise and we dance along. [turn it up]Angels leanin’ in just to watch the show, [look up] Heaven’s got a front-row seat, don’t you know? Every leap of faith is a victory spin, [leap] Every “Hallelujah” makes the joy rush in! [shout “Hallelujah!”][Bridge] Left foot, right foot, glory all around, [left-right] Feel that power liftin’ us right off the ground. [lift up] No more chains, no more fear, no more “maybe later,” Spirit’s got the playlist and it’s gettin’ greater! [turn it louder] Jump for joy, shout for peace, laugh till you cry, [jump & laugh] This is what freedom feels like when you let go and fly! [arms wide][Chorus] We’re dancin’ in the Spirit, yeah we’re dancin’ free! [big spin][Outro] One more spin… two more jumps… three big shouts! [spin – jump – shout] Keep on dancin’ till the stars come out. Spirit’s still movin’, the night’s still young— We’re dancin’ in the Spirit… and the party’s never done! Whoo! Yeah! Keep it goin’! [everybody shout & dance]
