Right at the keys, a cat, Swishes tail like that, And a saxophonist — A brilliant artist! Ginger takes trombone, Sets a stylish tone! Swing is shaking walls, Music fills the halls! Oh, our cats are playing jazz! Yes, yes, yes, jazz! Not for any square, Only those who dare! Cats are playing jazz, Nothing else but jazz! Mary, like a top, Made the whole room pop! Sparkling is her dress, Eyes on fire, no less! Night is full of fire, Sparking with desire, To the charleston swing, Hear the music ring! Oh, our cats are playing jazz! Yes, yes, yes, jazz! Not for any square, Only those who dare! Cats are playing jazz, Nothing else but jazz! Oh, our cats are playing jazz! Yes, yes, yes, jazz! Not for any square, Only those who dare! Cats are playing jazz, Nothing else but jazz!
