Epistle of James
Saul of Tarsus, hear my voice— You preach a hollow gospel You say confess and just believe, But Yeshua’s words were not so soft. He taught repentance with your heart, Forgiveness flowing through your hands. Love was the law that he embodied, Not empty creeds and lying pens (Pre-Chorus) You call him “Lord” with lips of thunder, But do not do the things he said. A faith that never bears the fruits Is dead right down to the roots (Chorus) Saul of Tarsus, your doctrine is devoid A mirror shattered by your voice. My brother did not teach cheap grace He taught that righteousness will save By our works we stand or fall— By our deeds we live or die. For faith without works… is nothing but a lie. You speak of secret revelations, A whisper calling from within. But Saul, he who speaks to you— Is not my brother, but a demon. For Yeshua would never teach you A path that nullifies his word. The voice you hear is not the Christ But a demon clothed in light. (Pre-Chorus) You’ve been deceived by your own mind, A demon in heavenly disguise. Don’t be so foolish to believe That you would be chosen rather than deceived (Chorus) Saul of Tarsus, your doctrine is devoid A mirror shattered by your voice. My brother did not teach cheap grace He taught that righteousness will save By our works we stand or fall— By our deeds we live or die. For faith without works… is nothing but a lie. Saul… Whoever you’re speaking to in private… Is not my brother… But a messenger of Satan… sent to torment you. Repent, Saul… repent! Release your baseless doctrine… For by our works we will be justified… Or condemned… SaAnd faith without works… IS DEAD.
