5 - “THE COVENANT OF COLORS” — Inspired by Genesis 9–10

VERSE 1 — A New World Breathing The waters had retreated, the mountains stood again, Noah stepped on solid ground with trembling, grateful hands. The sky was washed in silence, the earth was fresh and new, A world reborn from mercy, from judgment passing through. VERSE 2 — The Promise Spoken Then God declared His covenant, a vow that would not break: “No flood will drown creation, no storm My love can shake. This bow across the heavens will mark My faithful grace— A sign for every nation, for every time and place.” CHORUS — The God Who Remembers Colors in the clouds, Mercy in the sky, A promise for the ages That no storm can deny. From Noah to the nations, His faithfulness remains— The God who paints the heavens Still calls us by our names. VERSE 3 — The Sons and Their Stories From Shem the line of promise, from Ham the distant lands, From Japheth came the coastlands where the sea meets shifting sands. The families grew and scattered, each tribe and tongue unique, Yet all bore the Creator’s mark in every life they speak. VERSE 4 — The Nations Rise The earth was filled with people, the clans spread far and wide, Kingdoms born from wanderers beneath the changing skies. From rivers into deserts, from mountains to the shore, The story of the nations began forevermore. BRIDGE — The Thread Through Every Line From one man came the nations, From one breath came us all. The covenant still whispers Through every rise and fall. The rainbow bends through history, A promise never dim— The God who shaped the peoples Still calls them back to Him. FINAL CHORUS — The God Who Remembers Colors in the clouds, Mercy in the sky, A promise for the ages That no storm can deny. From Noah to the nations, His faithfulness remains— The God who paints the heavens Still calls us by our names. TAG He still calls us by our names… He still calls us by our names.
