Your voice once filled our home with laughter, but now the silence holds its sway. The roads we walked now feel much colder, the memories cut just like the frost. The winter stole our Christmas magic, and left me mourning what we lost. December snow, you fall so cold, like the emptiness you left in me. December snow, you hide the footsteps, but you can’t erase what used to be. I still recall the Christmas mornings, your smile beneath the twinkling lights. The tree would glow, the room felt endless, but now it’s fading into the night. The silence fills the empty spaces, your side will never feel the same. And though I try to light a candle, its flicker whispers through the pain. December snow, you fall so cold, like the emptiness you left in me. December snow, you hide the footsteps, but you can’t erase what used to be. If I could turn back all the seasons, if I could rewrite this bitter end, I’d hold you close on Christmas Eve, and never let you go again. December snow, you hide my tears, but you can’t heal this aching soul. December snow, you’re a witness, to the love the winter stole. When the carols no longer echo, and the lights fade on this empty tree, I’ll search for you in every flake, where you’ll always live in me.
