You think nothing is changing Because the mountains Still look the same The ocean Still comes and goes The sky Still turns from blue to gold But look again You’re not the same woman Who stood here last year You carry different questions Different dreams Different scars Different courage You changed quietly Like the seasons Like the tide Like the moon No announcement No applause No permission Just change Change Change You are growing Even when it feels slow You are moving Even when you stand still You are becoming Without forcing it Without chasing it Without fear Trust the unseen Trust the becoming Trust the tide
