[Verse] Once upon a time in outer space A lonely astronaut was in disgrace His feet were sore He just wanted to explore The rings of Saturn That's what they were for [Pre-Chorus] His head in the clouds But His feet on the ground [Chorus] He's the man on the moon Ooh Ooh He's the man on the moon Ooh Ooh [Verse 2] He told me of the stars up in the sky And how he liked to watch the world go by From the top He said You don't see the lot And sometimes It's nice to get out of the pot [Pre-Chorus] And even though he was alone Well He didn't feel alone [Chorus] He's the man on the moon Ooh Ooh He's the man on the moon Ooh Ooh He's the man on the moon Ooh Ooh He's the man on the moon Ooh Ooh
