Nope From Me, Dawg - Chapter 1 - Creepy House

[Verse] I pushed that door real slow The hall was cold and bare A painting kept on staring Like it knew why I was there The floorboard gave a groan Then silence bit my spine Dust on the banister And a shadow crossed the line [Pre-Chorus] I heard a drag behind me A tap-tap at my back My heart went straight to hammering As something held the black [Chorus] That’s a nope from me, dawg That’s a nope from me, dawg I’m out that house tonight That’s a nope from me, dawg That’s a nope from me, dawg That’s a nope from me, dawg You jumped right out the dark That’s a nope from me, dawg [Verse] I checked the rusted mirror Saw my face turn pale Then hands came through the curtain And I nearly hit the rail A grin from nowhere flashed A mask and a frozen stare I screamed so loud the rafters Shook the dust right out the air [Pre-Chorus] I spun and hit the doorway Feet skidding on the wood You laughed like it was nothing But I was gone for good [Chorus] That’s a nope from me, dawg That’s a nope from me, dawg I’m out that house tonight That’s a nope from me, dawg That’s a nope from me, dawg That’s a nope from me, dawg You jumped right out the dark That’s a nope from me, dawg [Bridge] Now every creak gets louder Every curtain looks alive If that old house wants my blood It’s gonna have to wait outside [Final Chorus] That’s a nope from me, dawg That’s a nope from me, dawg I’m never coming back That’s a nope from me, dawg That’s a nope from me, dawg That’s a nope from me, dawg You jumped right out the dark That’s a nope from me, dawg
