📌Due to a busy work schedule March and April, I'm mainly uploading unreleased tracks from SUNO (Currently, I'm busy with mastering work lol) This song was recorded on January 4th of this year. Around that time, I was studying Arabic music, and I felt like I was staying in a live music venue in Tunisia. Speaking of Tunisia and jazz, Gillespie's "A Night in Tunisia" is a famous modern jazz standard. https://youtu.be/Pkn2rDQx0Ok?si=E6M490BJPfTQsWvl We recorded quite a few jazz session (fusion)-like numbers in that mood, and this is one of them. Its characteristics include an influence from the organ virtuoso Jimmy Smith's solo, and Dovah playing George Benson-esque guitar. Those familiar with George Benson's guitar playing might recall his recordings from his time at GRP. I think the Benson-inspired guitar melody and the accompanying scat singing are reproduced quite well. ========= image: Urban, Exotic, Tunisia, GRP Records Instruments: Fender Rhodes, drums, bass with good groove, Jazz guitar octave-style guitar melody musicians type: Hammond organ type jimmy smith Guitar type George Benson Rhodes type Richard Tee [Instrumental] [Intro] [Guitar Melody] [Organ Solo] [Guitar and Rhodes trade solos] [Outro]
