[Verse] The priests grow fat the altars bleed dry Offerings rot while the heavens cry Where is your honor where is your flame The covenant breaks you curse His name [Chorus] Return return to the fire The refiner's blaze burns higher He calls you out He calls you near Will you rise or drown in fear [Verse 2] The sons of Jacob they twist they fall Selling their souls for the price of gall Widows weep but you turn away Robbing your God day after day [Prechorus] The scroll is open the witness speaks Justice rolls like thunder it shakes the weak [Chorus] Return return to the fire The refiner's blaze burns higher He calls you out He calls you near Will you rise or drown in fear [Bridge] Like a furnace melting stone He purifies He claims His own The hearts of fathers to the sons Before the great day comes undone
