[Title: Love Blooms Where It’s Planted] [Verse 1] Till the soil of my hardened heart Break up my FALLOW GROUND Expose the places I’ve kept closed Let buried roots be found Loosen all I’ve held so tightly Make room for something new Prepare my heart to hold the love That takes its root in You [Verse 2] Saturate my thirsty heart With the water of Your Word Soften every hardened place Where Your voice has gone unheard Till the driest soil within me No longer turns away But drinks the rain You’re pouring out And hunger grows each day [Chorus] Plant Your love deep in my heart Transform me from the inside out Let Your roots reach every part Through hidden rooms and buried doubt Leave no secret place untouched Let Your perfect love draw near Fill the soil so full of love There’s no room for weeds of fear [Verse 3] Replace the bitter soil within Where hurt has left its stain Make my heart a GOLDEN GARDEN Let sweetness grow again Bring a harvest overflowing More than I could ever store Let its fruit feed hungry people Teach my hands to give them more [Verse 4] Keep my heart from PHARAOH'S COVERING Holy Spirit, cover me When I reach for false protection Show me what I cannot see Pharaoh’s broken reed will splinter Pierce the hand that trusts its form You alone can be my shelter In the PERFECT STORM [Verse 5] Teach our hands to build the greenhouses To weather the DARK WINTER Shelter seeds of love we’ve planted Where hearts have grown cold and bitter When the WHIRLWIND snaps the tender stems Whose roots are not yet strong Let us guard their growing faith Till they, too, can stand through the storm [Bridge] When they’ve done all they can do Help them stand, still rooted in You Let our love become a shelter While their tender roots grow deeper What You’ve planted, we will tend Teach us how to guard and mend From a seed to fruit to share Let love grow through faithful care [Chorus] Plant Your love deep in my heart Transform me from the inside out Let Your roots reach every part Through hidden rooms and buried doubt Leave no secret place untouched Let Your perfect love draw near Fill the soil so full of love There’s no room for weeds of fear [Outro] Love blooms where it’s planted Let it take its root in me Make my heart Your GOLDEN GARDEN With a harvest others see.
