[Love Builds Up] [Verse 1] I could know a thousand things Have the answers knowledge brings Think that I am always right Win the argument tonight But if my pride gets in the way And someone stumbles by what I say What good is everything I know If love is missing from my soul? [Pre-Chorus] It's not about What I can do It's how my choices Affect You [Chorus] Love builds up! When knowledge lifts us high Love reaches down And puts our pride aside Love builds up! It's more than being right I'll lay my freedom down To help another stand in Christ! [Verse 2] I may have the right to choose But there's more than rights to prove If my freedom makes you fall Then love must matter most of all I won't become a stumbling stone Or leave a weaker heart alone I'll choose the path that helps you stand And lift you with a loving hand [Pre-Chorus] It's not about What I can do It's how my choices Affect You [Chorus] Love builds up! When knowledge lifts us high Love reaches down And puts our pride aside Love builds up! It's more than being right I'll lay my freedom down To help another stand in Christ! [Bridge – Melodic breakdown] Not everything that's permitted Is the loving thing to do I will think beyond my freedom And consider what helps you Let my knowledge serve with kindness Let my choices show Your grace May I never cause another To stumble in this race [Final Chorus – Full-energy EDM/pop] Love builds up! When knowledge lifts us high Love reaches down And puts our pride aside Love builds up! It's more than being right I'll lay my freedom down To help another stand in Christ! [Outro – Short, fading vocals] Not my pride Not my rights Let Your love be seen tonight Knowledge fades But this is true Love builds up In all we do
