[Verse 1] Way up high the sun shines bright, Giving plants their power and light. Plants grow tall for all to see, Starting every food chain naturally! [Pre-Chorus] Producer! (Make that food!) Producer! (Looking good!) [Chorus] Food Chain Funk, let’s move along, Every living thing belongs! Sun to plant to animal too, Nature’s teamwork coming through! Food Chain Funk, clap your hands, Life connects across the lands! Eat and grow, survive and play, That’s the food chain way! [Verse 2] A rabbit nibbles on the grass, Along comes a fox that sneaks right past. Each organism has a role, Working together makes the system whole. [Chorus] Food Chain Funk, let’s move along, Every living thing belongs! Sun to plant to animal too, Nature’s teamwork coming through! [Bridge] Producers, consumers too, Everyone has work to do! When living things depend each day, Ecosystems find their way! [Final Chorus] Food Chain Funk, clap your hands, Life connects across the lands! Eat and grow, survive and play, That’s the food chain way! [Outro] Sun, plants, animals—funky science!
