You Know Me Fully

V5

Verse 1 There’s things I don’t say out loud, thoughts I don’t always put into sound, feelings I try to keep turned down, like I don’t want ‘em exposed. Sometimes I sit with it on my own, try to process it, try to hold everything together so it don’t show, but it still runs deep in me. And people see what’s on the surface, they don’t know what’s underneath it, they don’t feel what I’m dealin’ with, they just catch a glimpse and move on. And I don’t blame ‘em, they can’t see it, they don’t live inside my thoughts or feel it, but it can get heavy when nobody really understands what’s goin’ on. But then I remember You already know, every hidden place, every quiet zone, every part of me I don’t show, You see it clearly. I don’t gotta explain it all to You, I don’t gotta dress it up to be approved, I just come as I am and I know it’s true— You understand me. That changes how I deal with it, I don’t feel alone in the middle of it, I don’t feel like I gotta fix it quick, I just bring it to You. And in that moment I find a peace, not because it’s gone, but because I see I’m fully known and still received, and that’s enough for me. Hook You know me fully, every part inside, every hidden thought I don’t let outside, I don’t gotta hide, I don’t gotta disguise, You know me fully—and I’m alright. Through God the Father, I’m understood, through Jesus my Savior, I’m covered in good, through the Spirit that moves, I’m where I should, You know me fully—and I’m held for good. Verse 2 I used to feel like I had to explain, like if I said it right, they’d understand the pain, like I could find the words to make it plain, but it never really landed right. It’s hard to describe what you feel deep down, when it don’t always come out in sound, when it don’t fit clean in a sentence now, and it gets misunderstood. So I stopped tryna force it like that, stopped tryna prove where I’m really at, stopped tryna get everybody on track with what’s goin’ on inside me. And I started leanin’ into You more, not lookin’ for answers at every door, just bringin’ it straight to the source that already knows it all. Through Jesus Christ, I don’t feel that gap, I don’t feel like I’m missin’ that connection I thought I had to have with people just to feel seen. I still value it, but I don’t depend on everyone else to comprehend what only You can fully extend— that understanding I need. Through the Spirit I feel that calm again, when my thoughts start closin’ in, He reminds me You’re present within, and I don’t lose my center. And God the Father, You see me clear, not just the strong parts I appear, but every doubt, every hidden fear, and You don’t turn away.
