[Intro – Floating Scene] (Soft tambura drone fades in. Sitar plucks slow, circular melody. A reversed cymbal ushers in the first vocal, airy and warm.) [Verse 1] There’s a place behind my mind, Where the colors twist and climb. Every thought becomes a rhyme, Under the tangerine sky. [Verse 2] Paper clouds and golden tea, Dreams dissolve in melody. You can stay, but so can I, Under the tangerine sky. [Chorus] Tangerine sky, don’t fade away, Hold my heart ‘til the end of day. Drift with me where echoes lie, Under the tangerine sky. [Bridge – Instrumental / Vocal Drone] (Sitar solo over tabla rhythm; backwards guitar sweeps in wide stereo.) “Turn your face to where the morning hides, Close your eyes — the light’s inside…” (Mellotron flute and tanpura sustain; bass hums one steady note throughout.) [Verse 3] Every star is a thread of sound, Tied to earth but never found. If you listen, you’ll hear it sigh — Under the tangerine sky. [Final Chorus + Outro] Tangerine sky, you’re all I see, You’re every song inside of me. Let the world spin slowly by — Under the tangerine sky. (Fade out on looping sitar motif and reversed tambura drone — as if dissolving into light.)
