Christ: Author and Finisher of Our Faith (Eduardo F. Ortega) [Apr 2026]

From distant shores, a grandmother’s choice, One quiet step, a listening voice. She planted seeds in rocky ground, Now faith grows tall where love is found. Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith, He writes our story, He makes us safe. Step by step, day by day, We press forward on the covenant way. Not born with faith, but born to choose, A personal quest, a heart renewed. No heritage strong enough alone, We must decide to make it our own. Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith, He writes our story, He makes us safe. Step by step, day by day, We press forward on the covenant way. Small and simple, the daily choice, Prayer and scripture, hearing His voice. From weakness strong, from doubt to light, He perfects us through His might. Whether pioneer or brand new soul, The path is clear, the Savior whole. Endure with hope, with steadfastness, Till we become like Him at last. Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith, He writes our story, He makes us safe. Step by step, day by day, We press forward on the covenant way. So let us rise and take His hand, The Author leads us to the Promised Land. Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith, Forever His, forever safe.
