Verse 1 Out on the water, the storm’s closing in, Waves crashing hard, and the fight’s wearing thin. Rowing through the night, can’t see through the rain, Crying out to God, but the struggle remains. Then I see Him walking, on the waves He strides, But it feels like He’s passing, leaving us behind. Chorus The plan never changed, oh, the promise still stands, Through the wind and the waves, He’s got it in His hands. He sees you in the storm, He knows your every pain, Hold on, keep the faith, the plan never changed. Verse 2 Three in the morning, the dark feels so deep, Fighting for your life, and you’re longing for peace. You’re calling out to Jesus, “Why’d You walk on by?” But He’s not ignoring the tears in your eyes. He saw those disciples, He sees you the same, Every storm you’re facing, He’s calling your name. Chorus The plan never changed, oh, the promise still stands, Through the wind and the waves, He’s got it in His hands. He sees you in the storm, He knows your every pain, Hold on, keep the faith, the plan never changed. Bridge He said, “I’ll meet you on the other side,” No storm can stop Him, no wave can divide. John sixteen thirty-three, hear the truth He’s claimed, He’s overcome it all, the plan never changed. Verse 3 So when it feels like He’s passing you by, When the hurt runs deep and you’re wondering why, Remember His promise, His word will remain, The miracle’s coming, through the wind and the rain. He’s walking on the water, He’s still in control, The storm’s just a moment, but He’s holding your soul. Chorus The plan never changed, oh, the promise still stands, Through the wind and the waves, He’s got it in His hands. He sees you in the storm, He knows your every pain, Hold on, keep the faith, the plan never changed. Outro Oh, the plan never changed, no, it’s still on its way, The blessing, the miracle, it’s coming today. Through the storm, through the night, He’s forever the same, Take heart, keep believing, the plan never changed.
