NDC 29: Nordic Discord Challenge Genre: Psychedelic Rock Theme: Portal “Di Portal Man” - Original Song by F1sk Copyright ©2025 F1sk www.suno.com/@f1sk --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Di Portal Man tells the surreal story of a mystical time traveler who uses ancient, glowing portals to jump through time and correct the wrongs of the world. With lyrics steeped in Rastafarian wisdom and rebel energy, the song explores ideas of redemption, destiny, and personal responsibility. Blending a psychedelic soundscape with deep reggae roots, the track bends time and space just like the man himself. Laced with haunting guitar licks, echo-drenched drums, and smoky vocal deliveries, the song paints vivid imagery of Babylon burning, timelines shifting, and a lone soul on a mission to heal the past. It's a hypnotic blend of spiritual insight and street reality perfect for those who see life as more than linear. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Intro] Mi close mi eye and mi see it clear A doorway a open up inna di air One likkle step, and mi disappear Forward, backward, anywhere Time a illusion, mi spirit free Mi fix di past like prophecy [Verse 1] Mi jump through portal, mi enter di flame Change di ting weh did bring mi shame Mi tell mi bredda “No buss dat nine” Now him deh yah, him still got time Mi see mi madda before she bawl Hug her tight before she fall Every wrong move, mi press rewind Balance out di broken line [Chorus] Portal man, mi nuh bound by sand Time cyaa hold dis immortal man Mi bend di clock, mi twist di plan Fi right di wrongs weh Babylon tan Mi step through gates weh yuh cyan’t explain Future, past – it all feel di same Portal man, yeah, mi travel fi heal Mi bruk di chain pon di karmic wheel [Verse 2] Mi find di youth mi used to be Him lost, mi show him how fi see No more dark, mi light di lamp Guide him outta di wicked camp Mi enter Rome, enter Kemet Drop some truth dem cyan’t forget Di elders whisper inna mi ear “You hold di key to shift di sphere” [Bridge] Mi float through colour, sound and shape Mi higher self escape di state One foot inna di now, one gone Mi twist di thread till pain cyaan spawn Guitar a wail like soul in storm But mi calm – time a weh mi perform [Chorus] Portal man, mi nuh bound by sand Time cyaa hold dis immortal man Mi bend di clock, mi twist di plan Fi right di wrongs weh Babylon tan Mi step through gates weh yuh cyan’t explain Future, past – it all feel di same Portal man, yeah, mi travel fi heal Mi bruk di chain pon di karmic wheel [Outro] One step left, mi gone again One more life fi fix di pain Dem think mi mad, but mi overstand Mi born fi be… di Portal Man
