What is success? Who decides the answer? They say it’s not about money But ideals don’t pay the bills Just breathing costs something Everything has a price You can’t live on dreams alone But you can’t live without them The older you get, the more you know The more you fear to lose Freedom slowly changes shape With every choice you make What do you throw away? What do you keep? There is no perfect answer Still, you have to choose Reality keeps hitting back And dreams won’t make it disappear But somewhere between hope and truth We find a reason to stay here What is success? I still don’t know I just keep choosing The life I have to live Between hope and reality I stand without an answer But still, I live Right here
