when she says we need to talk it's time for me to go fishing cause when she says we need to talk it don't mean WE need to talk it means SHE needs to talk and I need to listen if I say a word there'll be a terrible fight unless it's yes dear I'm sorry or yes dear you're right and even then I can't win she'll say don't yes dear me and I find myself dreaming 'bout a boat and the sea where I'm just fishing and wishing and you know what I wish for I wish she would stop talking and I wish I liked to fish more. When she says we need to talk it's time for me to start packing been down this road before and one things for sure once she get's started man she won't stop yakking I could say a thing or two about a thing or two but it just makes it worse - it's like stepping in dog do you're always better off if you can tippy toe around it honey have you seen my tacklebox - oh that's okay I found it fishing and wishing... you know what I wish for I wish she would stop talking and I wish I liked to fish more. As I'm halfway out the door I hear "aren't you forgetting something?" Oh man I hate that guessing game 'cause I can't think of nothing got my fishing pole, my tackle box, my cooler full of beer she says "No. I got what you forgot, and I got it right here!" I turn around and there she is wearing nothing but a grin I'm halfway out the door but then again I'm halfway in Well maybe I don't have to go, maybe I got my wish maybe we don't have to talk and I don't have to fish Yeah fishing and wishing, you know what I wish for I wish she would stop talking and I wish I liked to fish more.
