[Verse] Well, I met a little beetle and he was a-pleadin' To show me the big bass drum [Bass Drum] He said, "I’m just a bug with a bumble and buzz, But I wanna make some noise like nobody does! The caterpillars jump when the rhythm gets grand, Doin' the jitterbug with the rest of the band, Yeah, the whole dynamic changes and the jungle is won, When that little beetle plays his big bass drum." [Chorus] And it's [Big Bass Drum] Well He fumbled and he tumbled and he dropped his sticks He rumbled and he mumbled Then he started to kick And the whole lawn started shakin' like a thousand-pound bug 'Cause the beetle started beatin' on his big bass drum [Verse] Well, I met a little beetle and he was a-pleadin' To show me the big bass drum [Bass Drum] He said, "I’m just a bug with a bumble and buzz, But I wanna make some noise like nobody does!
