Jesus Is the Light

Our God is great; He proves He’s true in His Word and His Creation. He IS the Light and GIVES us light— He’s worthy of our adoration. In chapter 8, verse 12 of John, Christ said that He’s the LIGHT. That means He helps us understand and shows us what is right. In 1st John 1:5, the Bible says, “NO darkness is in Him,” so we should stay away from things that might tempt us to sin. We need God’s light to discern what’s seen, said, done, or heard. How easily our minds are fooled if we ignore God’s Word. God gives us light to reveal the truth behind things that deceive, like dangers, problems, and what’s fake, which untrained eyes cannot see. Trusting God will bring us peace when we obey Christ’s plea— to let Him shine His light through us that all the world may see. Our God is great; He proves He’s true in His Word and His Creation. He IS the Light and GIVES us light— He’s worthy of our adoration. Along with focusing on His Word, He shows us what He’s made. His light reveals rocks, plants, and stars, and all wonders He’s displayed. His light shines on the earth below; the temperature’s just right. He even made all types of eyes to see in day or night. You’ll find His light deep in the sea, to galaxies above. He shows how light can make things grow and even glow in bugs. Our God is great; He proves He’s true in His Word and His Creation. He IS the Light and GIVES us light— He’s worthy of our adoration. Our God is great; He proves He’s true in His Word and His Creation. He IS the Light and GIVES us light— He’s worthy of our adoration.
