Boasting Excluded

[Intro - Spoken with fire, building] Listen, dear soul... hear this truth today... [Verse 1] Why do you walk in holiness? Why come to these waters wide? Not to save yourself, my friend — you’re already justified! Every sin is washed away, your name is written above Christ has sworn to bring you home in His redeeming love [Pre-Chorus] So when they ask you why you serve, why you live this way Tell them with a grateful heart what grace alone can say [Chorus] Boasting excluded! All glory to the Lamb! I am saved — now let me serve the Great I Am! Not to earn Your favor, Lord, but because I’m Yours Nail my pride upon the cross — my only boast is Yours! [Verse 2] Is there a duty full of fire, a path of self-denial? Lord, I’ll run it with great joy — let my life be Your trial! If You suffered in my place, bore the wrath I deserved What can I withhold from You? My life is gladly served! [Pre-Chorus] No selfish works can save a soul, they only lead to pride But gratitude sets the captive free — in Christ we now abide [Chorus] Boasting excluded! All glory to the Lamb! I am saved — now let me serve the Great I Am! Not to earn Your favor, Lord, but because I’m Yours Nail my pride upon the cross — my only boast is Yours! [Bridge - Passionate spoken/sung] O for grace to live this way! To bring forth fruits of righteousness All of Him, through Him, to Him To God alone be glory — forever! [Final Chorus - Explosive, full choir] Boasting excluded! Let every tongue proclaim! Grace has made me accepted in the Beloved’s name! I was lost but now I’m found — living for His praise All my gain I count as loss — nailed to His cross! [Outro - Reverent, fading] Of Him... through Him... to Him... Be glory forever... Amen.
