The metal giants sleeping, they are never waking up We drank the fucking poison from a broken, rusted cup Day in and day out, people start coughing blood We abandoned the machines that could've pulled us from the mud There is no fucking medicine to make it disappear The maximum age is dropping lower, year by year They say the air was clear once, you could look up and see space Now there's just a suffocating ceiling locked in place.
