Verse 1 From the city of Colossae, a letter came alive, Paul was writing truth so the church would thrive. A prayer for wisdom, strength, and light, That they’d walk in Jesus, fully right. He is the image of the unseen God, Firstborn over all, where creation awed. Through Him all things were made and hold, The story of Christ forever told. Chorus He is supreme, He is the King, Over every living thing. He is enough, He’s all we need, In Christ alone we’re set free indeed. No empty lies, no chains remain, In Jesus’ name we rise again. Supreme and sufficient, strong and true, A new life shines in all we do. Verse 2 Don’t be fooled by rules made by men, Or hollow words that promise then condemn. No hidden wisdom, no secret way, Christ has opened the only way. Buried with Him, the old life gone, Raised to walk in resurrection dawn. Forgiven fully, debt erased, By the cross and the grace He placed. Verse 3 So set your heart on things above, Clothed in mercy, kindness, love. Forgive as He has forgiven you, Let peace of Christ guide all you do. In every home and every place, Let your words reflect His grace. A life that speaks of what is real— The risen Christ we know and feel. Final Chorus He is supreme, He is the King, Over every living thing. He is enough, He’s all we need, In Christ alone we’re set free indeed. Forever His, forever new, A life made whole, a heart made true. Supreme and sufficient, strong and true— Colossians sings: He reigns over you.
