The Last Kids on Earth - Theme Song

Root beer cocktails, marshmallows in the fire,
Epic quest or Xbox? What more could I desire?
But Blarg don’t care, he’s crushing through the street,
Life’s crazy like that when you’re thirteen on your feet.

[Chorus]
Chill out, light it up,
the battle’s our rebirth,
Kick back, we’re the kids proving what we’re worth.
From the wreckage of the world, we rise with might,
We are… The Last Kids on Earth.

Fight back, monsters fall, we command the turf,
Loud laughs, loud lives, in the chaos we surf.
From the rooftops we roar, to the end of the earth,
We are… The Last Kids on Earth.

[Verse 2]
Dirk’s a butt-saver, Quint’s got science brains,
June’s got fire in her eyes, steady through the pains.
Trapped like trapped rats in a rat trap, still we play,
“HE BROKE THE PLAYSTATION!”
 now somebody’s gonna pay.

Ping-Pong solves problems, Oreo crumbles too,
Monster hands on buses, what’s a kid supposed to do?
Battle Royale in Wakefield, we take the crown,
Hands on splintered bats, we ain’t backing down.

Fight back, monsters fall, we command the turf,
Loud laughs, loud lives, in the chaos we surf.
From the rooftops we roar, to the end of the earth,
We are… The Last Kids on Earth.

[Bridge]
Gasoline for the Xbox, Christmas lights glow,
Monsters in the shadows, but we steal the show.
Every day’s horrific, still we laugh and fight,
Epic kids surviving in the endless night.

Fight back, monsters fall, we command the turf,
Loud laughs, loud lives, in the chaos we surf.
From the rooftops we roar, to the end of the earth,
We are… The Last Kids on Earth.

[Verse 1] Forty-two days ago, I was just Jack Sullivan, Now I’m battling on a CVS roof, monsters comin’ in. Got grass stains on my butt cheek my favorite one, no lie, Quint says it’s just gas, but the fear’s in my gut when beasts walk by. Root beer cocktails, marshmallows in the fire, Epic quest or Xbox? What more could I desire? But Blarg don’t care, he’s crushing through the street, Life’s crazy like that when you’re thirteen on your feet.
