Before We Forgot: The Soul Contract

[Intro — spacious piano, distant didgeridoo, ceremonial atmosphere] Before the name Before the face Before the first breath filled this space Before the footsteps touched the ground We knew the journey we had found We came from silence into sound From endlessness to sacred ground [Verse 1] Before we entered into time We saw the pathways we might find The souls we’d meet, the love we’d know The seeds we’d plant, the ways we’d grow Not every moment written down Not every road already found A field of choices opened wide And something infinite stepped inside [Pre-Chorus] Then came the breath Then came the veil A human heart A human tale We let remembrance disappear So every choice could become real here [Chorus — full uplifting orchestra, deep bass, shamanic drums] We came to forget So we could remember We came into time To discover forever We came here to feel To create and become To walk through the many Remembering the One Through every heartbeat Through laughter and tears We came here to love Through the beauty of years Before we forgot We already knew Life was the journey We came here to choose [Instrumental — didgeridoo, tribal drums, piano, strings] [Verse 2] We came for sunlight on our skin For ocean waves and breathing in For hands to hold and hearts to meet For dancing barefoot with the Earth beneath We came for questions without names For courage rising through the change For unexpected doors appearing And quiet moments of remembering We came to stumble We came to rise To see ourselves through another’s eyes To know that even when we roam Something within us remembers home [Pre-Chorus] No path was carved into the stone No soul was meant to walk alone The contract opened possibilities But love gave every choice its wings [Chorus] We came to forget So we could remember We came into time To discover forever We came here to feel To create and become To walk through the many Remembering the One Through every heartbeat Through laughter and tears We came here to love Through the beauty of years Before we forgot We already knew Life was the journey We came here to choose [Bridge — ceremonial build, male and female voices answering each other] [Female] The contract was never a prison [Male] The future was never confined [Female] We entered a world of possibilities [Male] And carried free will inside [Both] We are not here to escape this life We are here to inhabit it To touch it To taste it To breathe it To love it To bring the infinite into the finite And let eternity experience this moment [Orchestral Rise — shamanic drums intensify, didgeridoo underneath] [Breakdown — intimate piano] Maybe remembering Was never about leaving Maybe awakening Was never goodbye Maybe we traveled Through all of this distance Just to discover Home was inside [Final Chorus — enormous, joyful ceremonial orchestra] We came to forget And now we remember We entered the moment Carrying forever We came here to feel To create and become Every beautiful difference Still part of the One We came here to choose We came here to grow To love without knowing How the story would go And now we remember What the journey was for Not to abandon the human But to become human With our hearts fully open And our souls fully awake [Final Drop — orchestra, bass, didgeridoo, shamanic drums] We are here We are alive We are choosing We are creating We are here We are alive And home… Home came here with us [Outro — piano and didgeridoo] Before we forgot We already knew And now… We remember.
