Porcelain People (Remastered)
Yeah… Feel like everybody’s smiling with a mask that never cracks… But the world do. I’ve been scrollin’ through the headlines, Every line a landmine, Politicians stage-cryin’, practicin’ they sad signs. Reddit got a thread on it, “World’s burnin’, dead on it,” Comment wars instead of hands— Empathy? They fed on it. They sell you “care” in a bottle, Brand it like a gospel, But when you’re on the edge? They ghost you like apostles. Every promise feel fossil, Crumbled in the hard rain— “Suicidal empathy,” You feel too much and go insane. Meanwhile the war drums bangin’ in the background, Steel-toed suits march souls into the battleground. We hashtags, they cash bags, Pain turned into product— Every tragedy a trend ’Til the timeline forgets about it. I'm lookin’ at the world like, “Damn, who raised y’all?” Truth gets auctioned off cheap, Guess it pays y’all. And every time I speak on it, They say I’m too raw— But if reality is poison, Why you mad I saw? Porcelain people, all of ’em see-through, Actin’ like they love you but they only wanna need you. World so deceitful, faith feel illegal— Who gon’ stand tall when the lies get lethal? Ay… Porcelain people, all of ’em see-through, Say they wanna save us but they only wanna lead you. I’ve been fightin’ with the feeling that humanity’s a rerun, Same plot, same pain, different actors tryna be someone. Fake woke prophets with a GoFund, Sayin’ “we the chosen ones,” Then vanish when the moment’s done. And empathy’s expensive when you livin’ with an empty soul, People numb and scrollin’, tryna patch another empty hole. They chanting “mental health” But won’t answer when your spirit folds— Leave you in the dark While they virtue-signal centerfolds. The system got a hunger and it feeds on quiet voices, War machine twistin' every vote into a violent choice. Leaders never bleed with us, They just point and speak for us— Then blame the ones who die For the battle they were scheming up. The world loves pain, As long as it’s televised. Hate loves fame When the devil’s idolized. Smile with lies Like a prize they incentivize— Truth gotta fight just to breathe, Ain’t it weaponized? Tell me— If care is real, then why it disappear when you ask for it? If peace is real, then why they send the poor to die for it? If love is real, why they only post it for applause? If life is sacred… Why they build machines designed to end ours? Porcelain people, all of ’em see-through, Actin’ like they love you but they only wanna need you. World so deceitful, faith feel illegal— Who gon’ stand tall when the lies get lethal? Ay… Porcelain people, all of ’em see-through, Say they wanna save us but they only wanna lead you. War machine feed you, silence gonna bleed you— Who gon’ break free when the chains get medieval? Maybe the world ain’t broken… Maybe it’s built this way. Maybe the truth ain’t spoken ’Cause they profit from decay. But if we ever see it clearly, Peel the paint from the façade— Maybe porcelain can shatter, And the real can beat the odds
