[Intro - Spoken: Solemn organ chords “Brothers and sisters, even the smallest tasks glorify the Lord. Let us sing!” [Chorus] Cleanin’ toilets for the Lord, hallelujah! Scrubbin’ porcelain in His name, amen! With a plunger in my hand, I’m a holy cleaning man, Washin’ sin and stains away again! [Verse 1] Oh, the bathroom floor was filthy, tiles caked with grime, But the Lord, He called me, said, “Make it shine!” I grabbed my brush, my gloves, my mop, Started prayin’ while I scrubbed, and I couldn’t stop! [Chorus] Cleanin’ toilets for the Lord, hallelujah! Scrubbin’ porcelain in His name, amen! With a plunger in my hand, I’m a holy cleaning man, Washin’ sin and stains away again! [Verse 2] When the bowl gets clogged, and the smell is strong, I hum a little gospel, keeps me rollin’ along. Blessed bleach in my bucket, soap suds of grace, Turnin’ dirty ol’ restrooms into a holy place! [Bridge Choir builds up Oh, if He can part the seas, He can clean these facilities! Even toilets need salvation, Sanitized for the congregation! [Chorus] Cleanin’ toilets for the Lord, hallelujah! Scrubbin’ porcelain in His name, amen! With a plunger in my hand, I’m a holy cleaning man, Washin’ sin and stains away again! [Outro Softer, reverent tone Cleanin’ toilets for the Lord, hallelujah! Even the smallest task is divine, amen! So I’ll polish every seat, until my work’s complete, Praiseful cleanin’, one flush at a time. (Organ flourish, choir hums harmoniously, fading out)
