[Verse 1] Things may look bad Your prospects dim You may feel lost But look to Him He marked the path He led the way He's walking with you every day [Verse 2] You may not know - you cannot tell All the ways He’ll make you whole He had a plan Long before your pain A way to heal And reasons for the rain In Him there is no lack Trust Him -- He’s always got your back [Chorus] Thank the Lord for what's going right Praise His name both day and night He is the Lord of Hosts Who loves you the very most Even on your darkest night He is still the Light Look for Him He's never out of sight Trust the King The Great I AM [Verse 3] One day you’ll look back And thank God for this path That felt painful with each step But in hindsight was heaven sent You’ll never want to change a thing For in it all you’ll see His hand And trust the King, the Great I AM [Bridge] Doubt not, fear not Be not dismayed God always knows the way You are never lost to Him He is the map when hope grows dim He is the road that leads you home again [Chorus] Thank the Lord for what went right Praise His name both day and night He is the Lord of Hosts Who loves you the very most Even on your darkest night He is still the Light Look for Him He's never out of sight Trust the King The Great I AM [Outro] In it all, look for His hand And trust the King, the Great I AM
