Fill Us With Thy Fruit, Holy Spirit® (Praise Band)

Fill us with thy fruit, Holy Spirit. God’s special gift from above. Your rushing wind, let us hear it, And see tongues of fire fueled by love. We can only imagine The joy on that Pentecost morn When people from all of the nations Were filled with the Spirit and reborn. They-were filled with the Spirit and reborn Fill us with love, joy, and peace, And patience is something we need. kindness and goodness are blessings. And faithfulness comes as you lead. Gentleness can be mistaken For weakness by those who are lost. It is reflective of Jesus, A pearl to be sought at all cost. Self-control won’t be a challenge Once we have yielded to you Infused with thy fruit, Holy Spirit, We're eager to see all we’ll do. Yes, we are eager to see all we will do. (Brief instrumental interlude) Filled with the fruit of the Spirit, Help us to live every day Loving and serving like Jesus, As we learn to trust and obey.
