Title - Tiny Pilot Light Band - Hollow Wood Year - 2009 ______________ Hollow Wood was born from a pivotal decision: to leave their roles as a church worship band in pursuit of a more personal and complex musical expression. Their 2009 breakthrough single, "Tiny Pilot Light," served as the perfect proof of this artistic shift, blending their past's lush harmonies with a new, deeply introspective sound that captivated the blossoming chamber pop scene. ______________ Let the quiet stretch A folded paper sketch The tiny pilot light is on Another hour's come and gone Are you listening? Barely whispering? Make a promise? Can you be honest? Watching the drying paint No real complaint The tiny pilot light is on A half-remembered Avalon (that's never spoken...) A fragile knot (that is broken...) The tiny pilot light is on The colors wash out in the dawn Are you listening? Barely whispering? Make a promise? Can you be honest? Are you listening? Barely whispering? Make a promise? Can you be honest? Whispering... Promise... Honest... Listening... Whispering... Promise... Honest...
