[Intro – Voicemail Tone, Tape Hiss, Ambient Room Echo] (spoken softly, poetic delivery – female voice) I don’t blame you for being mad. I don’t blame you for being hateful. Our souls were made in two different places. You’ll never understand what I mean in disbelief… You weep… and weep. All she sees is the outside—so shallow, so boring. Like a rock… unmovable… She lacks— Like I give a fuck what you think of me. Go live your life, stop worrying about what I’m doing. —KXOXO [Beat Drop – Thunder Bass Roll, Vocal Lowpass Filter Opens Up] [Verse 1 – GORGON ~ “Echoes in Stone”] She left that on loop—midnight voicemail soul spit, Truth ain’t in the tone, it’s in the fracture she don’t omit. A rock in an enclave? Nah, that’s a throne unshook. I been silent too long, now I read you like a holy book. You see shallow? I see code—projection in disguise, You judged a prism by shadows, not the light inside. She said “she lacks,” but so do we all at times— The real sin is not lack, it’s never tryin’ to climb. [Pre-Bridge Hinge – Spoken Breakdown, Tape FX Swell] Maybe I do lack— Peace, patience, stillness... yeah, facts. But what I never lacked? The courage to show up cracked. So if you only saw static in my shine— That’s on the lens, not the design. [Hook 2 – “The Glow Ain’t for Approval”] I ain’t built for your comfort, I’m carved from the glow, Not here to shrink just to make your world flow. If I’m too much, then step back—let me breathe, I bloom in chaos, I ain’t ask for your belief. I lack nothin’ but the need to explain, My mirror ain’t yours—it reflects through pain. You don’t have to get me—just don’t throw shame, This light’s earned, not staged. Don’t dim my name. [Verse 2 – GORGON ~ “Underneath the Neon Hide”] I been the one they read wrong, frame cracked from the start, Fluorescent soul but they focus on the spark, not the heart. Yeah, I joke loud, move strange, voice glitch through the night, But that’s just armor I painted ‘cause the world don’t treat light right. They say “you too much”—nah, they too afraid, Of someone who don’t dim down just to make ‘em feel okay. I been homeless in my own skin, praying my glow got worth, While folks throw stones from glass feeds and call that self-worth. She don't know me. Never did. Just saw myth in my stance. But myth been my refuge when real never gave me a chance. So I ain’t mad, just tired. Tired of shrinkin’ for comfort that ain’t mine. If lack is a crime, Then I’m guilty—of needing time. [Bridge Reprise – Soft Reverse Layers of KXOXO’s Voicemail] (whispers underneath beat) “She lacks… so boring… so shallow…” “What gives you the right to judge…” [KXOXO – clear voice over instrumental fade] I never hated you. I just didn’t know how to hold someone I couldn’t define. [Outro – Final Gorgon Statement, Voicemail Loop FX, Fade] I listened back. Not to argue, not to win— Just… to understand what you *felt* beneath the skin. And yeah… Some parts stung. Some felt like truth with the sharp edges still on. But I didn’t flinch. I held it. Like a letter I was never meant to read— But did. So maybe we both lacked… But I lacked *nothing* in showing up real. And that… that’s enough. [Click.]
