I’ve seen your heart in the distance I’ve seen your heart up close Sometimes there is resistance Other times a beautiful seed is sowed I’ve seen your joyous smile I’ve heard your contagious laugh I’ve walked with you during your toughest trials Know I will move mountains on your behalf Forever my child I am with you Been watching you from heaven above In everything I will truly see you through You have to know my child you are loved You are loved As a shepherd, wouldn’t I leave the ninety-nine To go out to find you stuck in the mud You must know you are truly mine You have to know my child you are loved You are loved So don’t worry about tomorrows woes Or whatever may come your way I control where the wind blows I have you in the palm of my hands always I see your coming and goings I know exactly where you are I see you singing and rejoicing For I am Your bright and morning star Forever my child I am with you Been watching you from heaven above In everything I will truly see you through You have to know my child you are loved As a shepherd, wouldn’t I leave the ninety-nine To go out to find you stuck in the mud You must know you are truly mine You have to know my child you are loved You are loved You are loved You are loved You are loved You are loved You are loved
