I started with a boat to own it had a couple issues, sails in rags lines in tatters some things connected but not what matters. Flaky paint and barnacles faded brass and leaking hull, smelly carpet, dirty screens, and her name be "The Pearl of the Sea". Thirty three feet of regal beams worthy of blue water dreams. Now catfish are my only pet, leaks when it rains and I do get wet, the windows leak and I'm not done yet, but the motor runs (now hold your breath). I can't afford another free boat, replacing halyards and mooring lines, in due time it's worth the dime broke out another thousand still spending time. Broken Genny rotting teak ship shape she's not her top decks are weak, (and needs new teak). The lesson learned here is do not accept free boats, wether be on land or wether she floats.
