[Verse] I saw you standing in the summer heat Your smile was sweet but your shoes were beat Then you kicked them off And oh my dear What I saw made my feelings disappear [Chorus] I liked you I liked you But your toes made me retreat Now I love your best friend From her head to her feet [Verse 2] You had the charm You had the glow But your toenails screamed a big no-no Crooked and cracked like a puzzle gone wrong I had to escape Couldn’t stay too long [Prechorus] And there she was A vision divine Her sandals sparkled Her pedicure shined [Chorus] I liked you I liked you But your toes made me retreat Now I love your best friend From her head to her feet [Bridge] Toe to toe I’ve got to go Your bunions sent me running You know Heel to heel Let’s keep it real Her arches sealed the better deal
