he woke up on the floor again bottles scattered in place another night he couldnt handle pain was scratchin his face (ouch) he lived a life without a purpose only crashin in space and every morning felt like hell was always draggin his waist (yea) he had no job no money saved his pockets flat as the truth (damn) he had no love no peace of mind no one to capture his proof but every night he lit the room like he was packin the roof cause being funny was the bandage he would strap to his wounds his friends adored the energy he showed when he arrived they never saw the lonely shadows he would hold when he cried he was the life of every party like he owned every vibe while bein dead inside and prayin he could cope with his mind he'd drink himself to sleep and drown the pain to quiet the noise he used the liquor like a weapon just to hide from his void he'd wake up angry at the world for never findin his voice but deep inside he knew the reason was the life he destroyed his friends would tell him man youre great and then forget he exists they loved the jokes he always told but never checked on his fists they didnt notice when he faded from the edge of the list they never saw the pain he swallowed just to step in their pics depression chewed him like a monster that was starvin for more he tried to fight but every night it left him scarred at the core he kept pretending he was fine while holdin scars in the drawer but when the liquor hit his system hed be starved on the floor Somebody said try this pill bro itll quiet your brain he didnt argue didnt think just wanted silence again he swallowed downward with the whiskey that was drowning his pain and didnt know that in a moment he'd be down in the drain his vision blurred the room was spinnin like a wheel that was cracked his heartbeat stumbled out of rhythm like it needed a map he crashed in bed with shoes still on too numb to deal with the fact the poison mixed inside his body like a sealin collapse he rolled over in his sleep his lungs were strugglin to breathe his stomach twisted up the toxins that were stuck in the weave the vomit choked him in the night like it refused to just leave and in the silence he suffocated under burdens he'd grieve his phone lit up the morning after but he couldnt respond his mother knocked upon his door she felt that something was wrong she opened up and saw her son who used to glow like the dawn and fell apart because she realized that her baby was gone his friends all met that night and cried about the signs they ignored they said he always lit the night like he was fire restored but never asked him how he felt or what he hid in his storms they never noticed that the laughs they chased were dying in form the truth was he was lonely broken tryna battle his guilt he used the parties like a shelter for the sadness he built they only saw the guy who danced and made the room wanna tilt but never saw the man who fell apart alone on his quilt now candles flicker by his picture where the memories stay a warning that the brightest souls can still be led astray a message that the loudest laugh dont mean youre blessed in your day and those who cheer the loudest sometimes are depressed in the gray his story echoes as a lesson that the pain can deceive that anybody in your circle might be tryin to leave that even those who light the party might be dyin beneath and smiles can be the biggest lies a broken person can weave so now they speak about him sayin man he always was fun but never asked him why he ran and why he always would run they loved the fire that he carried but ignored when it burned and now they mourn the night he died from pain they never had learned he lived for everybody else but lost himself in the cost he tried to numb the inner war until the battle was lost he was the life of every party but his soul was the cost and now his memorys a reminder what depression can cross Yea..... I miss you brother Rest in peace
