[Verse 1] Hand-me-down boots Dust from the Lanes on my laces Vi’s busted knuckles Jinx drawing chaos on cases I learned to flip through the crossfire Steel in my hands like a dare Thought I’d stay stuck in the alleys Now they’re calling my name up there [Spoken] Yeah You heard right My name on that roster 2XKO I read it twice just to feel it hit All those nights training Kicking sparks off broken brick Swing Slide Roll Strike Now I get to see what all that pain bought me [Chorus] First match lit I’ve been waiting for this Let me crash through the gate Feel the crowd in my fists Line us up I won’t flinch I won’t quit I was born for the clash Yeah My heart says This is it First match lit [Verse 2] Vi’s laugh in my memory Jinx’s fuse in my veins We were kids playing uprisings Now we’re storms with names I’ve got blades that dance on a heartbeat Little toys wired to blow Heat climbing up from my ribcage Till my hands turn bright like a glow [Spoken] I’m not here to be careful I’m here to be honest Steel Sweat And a spark I wanna stand beside them Trade hits Trade grins Win or lose I walk out knowing I didn’t hold a single thing back [Chorus] First match lit I’ve been waiting for this Let me crash through the gate Feel the crowd in my fists Line us up I won’t flinch I won’t quit I was born for the clash Yeah My heart says This is it First match lit [Bridge] Cut through doubt Flip that switch Pull that pin Feel that twitch Every scar on my skin Is a promise I’ll keep When the world starts to shake I’m the one on my feet [Spoken] So send in the heavy hitters Send in the legends I’m not scared of the fall I’m hungry for the swing Call my number Watch me answer [Chorus] First match lit I’ve been waiting for this Let me crash through the gate Feel the crowd in my fists Line us up I won’t flinch I won’t quit I was born for the clash Yeah My heart says This is it First match lit
