[Intro] Yeah... Hebrews... King Jesus... Ayy... [Hook] Jesus better than the angels, better than the law, Better than the priests that the old world saw. Better covenant, better sacrifice, Once for all, paid the ultimate price. No turning back, no matter what it costs, He carried my sin and He carried my cross. Faith got me standing when the whole world shakes, The righteous live by faith, that's the path that I take. [Verse 1] Back in the day God spoke through the prophets, Now through His Son, ain't nobody can top it. He made creation, sits on the throne, All things held together, kingdom never gone. Angels worship when He enters the room, Death got defeated when He walked from the tomb. Greater than Moses, builder of the house, If Jesus is the King then I'm bowing right now. Don't harden your heart like the wilderness crowd, They saw all the miracles but still weren't bowed. There's a promised rest for the people of God, Trusting in the Savior and the work that He wrought. [Verse 2] Melchizedek mystery, priest and a king, Pointing to Messiah and the hope that He brings. Levitical system couldn't make us complete, Now grace and mercy flowing down from the seat. Holy of Holies, curtain got torn, Access to the Father through the Savior born. Blood of the bulls couldn't wash me clean, But the Lamb of God fulfilled every dream. One sacrifice forever, no repeat, Death got crushed underneath His feet. Satan tried to stop Him but the battle got lost, Victory was purchased on an old rugged cross. [Bridge] Hold fast, don't drift away, Run your race, keep the faith. When the pressure comes, don't quit, don't break, God's still moving even in the earthquake. Discipline hurts but it grows the soul, Refining the silver, making sinners whole. Kingdom can't be shaken, built to remain, Every tear wiped away, every scar, every pain. [Verse 3] Chapter eleven got the hall of fame, Abel, Noah, Abraham trusting His name. Sarah saw promise when it looked absurd, Faith kept moving because faith heard the Word. Moses left Egypt for a greater reward, Choosing God's presence over Pharaoh's sword. Rahab found mercy, walls came down, Faith turns exiles into people crowned. Now I'm running my race with my eyes on Christ, Author and finisher of eternal life. Cloud of witnesses cheering from above, Pointing to the Savior and His limitless love. [Final Hook] Jesus better than the angels, better than the law, Better than the priests that the old world saw. Better covenant, better sacrifice, Once for all, paid the ultimate price. No turning back, no matter what it costs, He carried my sin and He carried my cross. Faith got me standing when the whole world shakes, The righteous live by faith, that's the path that I take. [Outro] Hebrews... From shadow to substance... From sacrifice to Savior... From religion to redemption... Jesus is greater. Forever. Amen.
